wow... you really must love he. well, since you're still a minor (but 2yrs isnt that long, eh?) i think a promise ring will be the best one... as for the date? why dont you brong her to the place where you had your first date? or the place where you met? i think that would be really sweet... good luck!

Don't get her an engagement ring!!! Are you mental? Your 16! And besides, she will probably be turned off if your on a break. I would be anyway. I would go with the promise ring. It's not so permanent sounding.

A promise ring would be better. Don't rush the engagment, you are only 16 and I bet you still have to finish school. When you go to college you may find someone new don't close all your options so early.

hello well first of all your are way too young. sec if you insist on doing something give her a promise ring but tell her you understand and think it would be best to wait. for a while. you guys are so young and have sooo much time to get to know eachother. being engaged is a big thing something you don't jump into after 3months of dating.

You are 16 - please remember that. You appear to have a slight concern that since she is older, 18, she may grow away from you. You may be right. She will be moving in different directions for the next two years while you are still in high school.

Take some time to enjoy your high school years - if it's meant to be, she'll be there in 2 years. You may even find that you find another person that you are more compatible with.
