Are you sure that he really likes you?what are the signs he showed up?maybe as what you've said she treats hiom like a dog.....eeewww....this guy is human..must be treated nicely..maybe he did find you nice...you treated him in a nice way...im sure he'll really falls for you....dont worry...time will come he will realize that you are that beautiful lady that he's been looking for....

If he was really unhappy, he would leave her. Boys (and girls which ever the case may be) are a dime a dozen. I wouldn't want to lose a friend over the flavor of the month.
