I never like seeing a race finish under caution, so obviously today wasn't my favorite race of all time. One thing that I heard that really suprised me was how much booing that I heard when Brian Vickers got out of his car in Victory Lane. I understand that Jr. fans were upset that he was wrecked and were calling to have the win stripped from Vickers. My question is how many of the Jr. fans who were screaming for blood today, doing the same thing when Jr. won a Busch race using the same tactic?

My question has nothing to do with how the drivers reacted.

I wish I could have been listening to Vickers and Johnson on the radio. Wonder what they were planning???? Vickers cant win a race without cheating that's obvious. I would bet anything that those two drivers planned that little stunt. JR had that race won and they couldn't stand it!!! I see the officials got onto JR for bump drafting, well that's what Vickers was doing too and they didn't say crap to him. Shameful way to win a race. I am going to hope and pray that next weekend JR goes after that little panty waste and puts him into the wall, him and Johnson too.

I agree with you shirley_e! However...I don't want for Jr to get his revenge and take out Brian Vickers because that would cause for karma to come back and bite Jr in the butt and he doesn't need that. Jr doesn't race that way, he doesn't go after drivers who take him out! It would be total poetic justice if Jr wins the race next week, his birthday is on Tuesday October 10th and I would love to see him get the win that should have been his today next Sunday!
And unless I was the only one who heard him after he wrecked...Jr didn't even blame Brian for what happened.
And everybody knows that Vickers can only win by wrecking someone. He and the rest of the HMS drivers always point the finger and blame someone else for their problem. You ask the rest of the drivers in the garage and they will tell you that Dale Jr is by far one of the last classiest drivers left in Nascar! Mark Martin said that himself on National TV!!
And Dale Jr did get booed when he hit Carl Edwards back in Michigan! Go back and watch a replay of the end of that race when they declared Jr the winner of that race and you can totally hear the fans booing Dale Jr!
So the Junior haters who are so quick to say that Junior is the dirtiest driver in Nascar...you need to go back and look at the stats again. If Junior causes a wreck he goes and apologies to the drivers who got caught up in his mistake. Earlier this season he caused a wreck that took out Kyle Petty and Dale Jr went to Kyle and apologised, he also pushed Kyle back onto pit road when the race was over.
So you can leave that Dale Jr drives just like his father theory out the window!

Talladega is always a very strange race.
Vickers should not have been awarded the win. He's not even in the race for the Cup, not one of the top 10.
JR was the ONLY person warned for bump-drafting not 10 laps before the crash.
But none of this matters, because no one from the Hendricks racing team will win the Cup anyway.

at the Busch race Edwards was not hooking up. Jr only drafted Edwards and his tires were well spent. if you had listened to Jr crew chief, they were excepting the teammate Jimmie Johnson and whoever his teammate to make a pass. not to wipe each other out. Jr was just caught up in there mistake. if you notice at the end of the race Jr wasn't complaining like Jimmie Johnson team mate Jeff Gorden when he was caught up in a wreck

It wasn't just Junior fans who were disappointed in Vickers' winning the race after being an idiot/dirty (depending on your point of view). Just as it wasn't just Kenseth fans who were booing Gordon when he did the same sort of thing at Chicagoland.

Sweetie, you probably do suffer from anxiety attacks. While you should talk to someone if they persist or get worse, the main thing you should realize is these kind of conditions (especially when stress is involved!) is usually in your head. It feels very real. I get them from time to time and after I had a few I sat back and realized I only got them at work. That led me to realize I need to take a chill pill for ten minutes and relax. It was hard at first but I am doing better. You will too! Like I said, if they persist or get worse or cause you to think its very serious please go and talk to the Dr, he/she will be able to give you information as well.

You all need to settle down a bit. It is called racing and that's what they did. If the tables had been turned and Jr did what Brian did you all would be happy. So stop whining about it and look forward to the next race.

What it all comes down to is....Nascar needs to treat every situation equally. If one driver messes up, they should set the example, and if another driver messes up the same way, it should be the same punishment that the first driver recieved.
