Kind of embarrasing, but I have a problem of my butt stinking up my pants. I dont fart or anything, but overtime, my pants start to stink like a**. It's to the point where I notice it, so I know others do. Ive used deodroant, but it does not seem to work.

over time meaning over hours....not days.

ok let me add. Im not a dirty person...I shower daily, and change my clothes daily. I just seem to have this stank butt problem. Ive had it for a few months now. I just want to make it stop. No one like a stank butt.

We know you shower daily we know you wash and we know you keep your clothes clean. So let's look at some other options:

1. It could be down to something like a relaxed sphincter and even though you aren't passing gas like a regular fart, something could be leaking.

2. Any sweat issues? Pants are generally more closed off and less likely to breathe and sweat and odor can build up stronger.

3. Odor can sometimes be caused by a combination of things. Like if you eat broccoli, or onions or garlic and it's seeping through your pores, combined with the perfumes in your shower soap, combined with the perfumes in your detergent, combined with your own body chemistry.

So what's the solution? Try a new soap. Wash carefully as always. Try a new detergent and make sure that isn't causing it. You can also try a body deoderant spray that helps reduce moisture, and you can watch your diet.

Also remember that you're very self concious. You could be smelling something that your brain picks up on but isn't that noticable.

You can also try an odor eliminator spray. I use this stuff called Approach in my sneakers. From the day I bought them, my sneakers have Stunk to high heaven. My other shoes are fine, so I know it's not me. But, they're the only sneakers I have and I didn't want to waste money on new ones. So every few hours I sneak out to the bathroom, take off my shoes and spray the shoes and my socks, let them air out for a few minutes, spray again and they're good to go. Makes things a lot easier on me and those around me, because even with them on, I can smell it, so I know how you feel.

Give it a try and see if it helps. Can spray it all over and it'll completely eliminate it. That'll help you save face while you find the cause.

Good luck

you should wash your pants more often and shower and scrub your butt really good with some anti-bacterial soap or some soap that has a strong smell (a good smell). i agree that it probably is just a sweating problem so just wipe it off every now and then when you get the chance. hope this helps! :D

your butt shouldnt smell unless your farting... or you could have a ceratin bacterial infection that reacts with a sweaty bum to make a stinky mess....

this is the same with armpits, the sweat itself does not smell, but when coupled with the lurking bacteria found in moist pits, the smell is what we've come to recognize as body odour... :-)

nothing to be ashamed about, just try your best to keep your sweaty **** dry ;-)

You need to scrub there with a anti bacterial soap.Use a wash cloth and really give it a go over. Also make sure your underwear are 100% cotton.

How many days in a row are you wearing your pants?? One or two days is fine, then you need to WASH them! Do you wipe yourself after you use the toilet??

My stinky brother has the same problem. Try some arm&hammer baking soda. It's a natural deoderizer, and it seems to be working on my brother, so if it has worked for him, it will work for anyone.

Honestly, you are probably sweating there too much. Just duck into the bathroom once in a while and wipe it. This should help.

Well try some powder. Unscented powder. And get some colon to put on to try to cover the scent. First change your soap then put on your powder and colon. i hope this helps.
