It seems like everyone has their carkeys in their hand when they are in the stores shopping. Why don't you put them in your purse or pocket? We are always having people in the store I work in come in frantically because they have left their keys laying some place. We end up having to take time to look all over the store for where the person layed them down. Why can't people take responsibility and put their keys away?

I do it because it is a pain to dig through your purse to find it. I usually only do it if I am going in and out quickly of a store otherwise I will put them in my purse.

If it's a convenience store , i keep my keys out..They can be used as a weapon should i need to defend myself.But if it's a regular department or grocery store, that's why I agree with you, and carry a purse.

I carry them a key at a time between the knuckles. Good security practice. I been robbed 4 times and shot at. If I have to punch someone... it will cut them at same time.

I keep them in my hand only until I am able to put them in my purse (like when i'm walking into school, i'll put them up when i get to my locker), but that's usually because I'm holding books or a portfolio or bags...

my key ring is so big & has so many keyes on it it's uncomfortable in pants pockets, this time of year I will start carying them in my coat pocket. I have never left them anywhere.

it's too big to put in a pocket... i just put a small carabineer and attach it somewhere.
