It is reliable, I wouldn't recommend it unless you have comparison shopped because it is usually expensive. I would check at newegg.com or tigerdirect.com for whatever you are looking for, but if Circuit City is still cheapest, yes it is very reliable.

No. It was good.

I was looking for a desktop because my daughter-in-law had told a friend not to pay a high price for it and that I would look for a better value. I looked through the ads in the Sunday paper and found Circuit City had the best price (about $300 for an HP with big monitor and ink jet printer). I took a chance on it and used their "buy it on the Internet and pick it up in the store" plan. That price included mail in rebates by the way that is why they had it so cheap. The guy on the phone was easy to reach and just needed the model number that was in the newspaper ad. He coached me through the paperwork of rebates (and they were paid in the mail, some by HP and some by Circuit City). By the time I got to the store in the next town they had the computer sitting there waiting for pickup.

It worked out perfectly. The only problem was that after I did that my daughter-in-law volunteered me to order one for her mother and have it shipped to California [no shipping charge] and I had to do it all over again. But Circuit City worked out well twice in one day.

I have several times... they have fast shipping... but it was things that was less than $300.00... if it's an item your familiar with go ahead... if it's you first time buy for lets say your first mp3... you might want to go in... but if it a big ticket item... definitly go in and do the purchase directly... I have also returned items I ordered online to the store with no problem... keep your receipts... so as far as ccity is concerned things worked fairly smoooooth for me... Good Luck!!!
