I got morning sickness and the nauseous feeling really bad during the first 2 months. It is finally starting to go away. Nothing that anyone suggested to me worked, even saltine crackers and ginger. What did make me feel a little better was sucking on candy throughout the day and napping whenever I got the chance. Besides that, I just had to pull through each day hoping the sickness and nausea would fade the next day. Also, drinking a huge glass of water inthe morning when I woke up took away some of the nausea for a couple of hours.

I'm not sure about panadol though.

Good luck to you.

When I was pregnant, I found that if I ate little snacks often throughout the day I was less likely to feel sick. I always felt nauseous when I was hungry. Crackers are good, so are apples. I tried not to take any medication, especially during the first three months, but I would check with your doctor or midwife and see what he/she says about the panadol.

I take half a unisom and vitamin B6. This was perscribed to me by my doctor and I'm having twins. Also, saltines helped, ritz helped, werthers candies helped a lot. Keep snacks on hand, don't let your belly get empty and make sure you eat 6 small meals a day instead of 3 big meals. Remember your stomach is having less room to expand, therefore you need to eat less more often.
These things will help but they're not a cure. You'll start feeling better around 3 to 3 1/2 months. Just enjoy it as much as possible.

This may sound strange but it is an ancient oriental remedy for nausea. Go to a natural foods store and buy some ginger. When ever you feel ill just chew on a piece of it.

As for any drugs see your doctor especially when you are pregnant. Remember you are not only eating for two you are also medicating both of you.

I would love to tell you that saltines and ginger ale work and that it'll be over in the 2nd trimester, but i dont lie to people.... every woman is different...... saltines make me throw up more and ginger ale leaves a rusty taste in my mouth.....Im 4 months now and on a prescription drug called Anzemet......seems to be working but check wit your doc first..... my mother actually had problems with nausea the entire 9 months with my brother, so i hope u can find something that caters to you personally..... good luck!!!!!

Better you dont take any medecine. I used to eat oranges and tangerines. In my country some women used to lick lemon..but it is too strong for me. But after the third month the nauseas will be over!

Good luck :)
