Obviously, you can't. You have to get an agent in the city where you live. Hopefully, he or she, will have Los Angeles, and/or New York contacts for you. It is EXTREMELY difficult to get an agent. Don't focus on getting an agent, focus on getting the best acting training you can get, preferably get an MFA degree, if you are serious about acting.
Develop acting credits in tv, movies and theatre.

I understand your question-but you cant just get an agent- first you have to build up your resume. An agent doesnt just take you and put you in wherever you want to be..Agents have to approve you-and they'll tell you if they want to work with you- you dont decide. However you should look for talent agencies in your area-and instead of looking to hollywood. One day maybe you'll be in hollywood- but for now stick to city town life. Because Acting is competition. So.. good luck.
