dandruff shampoo what is best?

i have long jet black shiny hair but the problem is i have dandruff and its itches a lot, i tried to used defferent kind of anti dandruff shampoo but still there.what shampoo is the best anti dandruff??

Well, I can imagine that you have tried Head and Shoulders. I have had a bout with dandruff and it seems to work wonders. However, generic brands of Head and Shoulders work just as well. There is also a concoction that I read about where you can visit Reader's Digest online and try to find natural home remedies. Unfortunately, I can't remember the mixture that I read about, but hopefully you could try Google's search engine for home remedies also.

The active ingredient to look for is pyrithione zinc. Head and Shoulders has 1%. The key is to use it EVERY time you shampoo. Don't use a rinse or conditioner afterwards as it tends to dilute the zinc too much

You need a salon shampoo I think its Paul Mitchell, it has tea tree oil in it and it works awesome. It smells like mint and it tingles that is how you know it works. This is what I use during the winter when my head itches alot. Good luck

t- gel shampoo...............it is brown and stinks but works great. Also try conditioning the scalp more, take mayo and put it on the hair rubbing it into the scalp then cover with a plastic shower cap and leave on for 2 hours then wash out.
