maybe romantic prospects cuz u may want 2 raise your kids a certain way but i think its important 2 have friends that have all different types of beliefs cuz it makes you more understanding of others and more educated of the world around you

For friends... no. I accept them for what they are and what they believe. As for my romantic partner being my husband we share the same religion/spirituality. My advice to any one romantically involved: It makes it a lot simpler if you are of the same denomination in faith. Of course partnerships have worked out with many who are not. But, they have to know how to compromise and how to bend the "rules" a little now and then. So for me personally I made it easy for myself and stuck with choosing to date boys of my faith because you never know, you may end up romantically involved and married. Which thank God I made a wise choice :)

It's not important to me unless someone starts trying to convert
me to their point of view. Fortunately nobody I know would do that
so it's not an issue.

It doesn't matter, not one little bit. I look for strong morals and liberal ideals. Their personality matters more, because religions do not create a kind and affectionate person.
