No tattoos. No piercings. No skin showing above the waist and below the neck. Skirts that are long enough. Underwear that stays out of sight. Clean clothes. Minimal, at worst, or no, at best, makeup. No gang wannabe clothes. No sagging. Think church casual for school. A little fun and flair doesn't hurt, but not slutty. No t shirts with offensive sayings or logos.

teenagers don't wear blouses and slacks...as long as your clothes are CLEAN, wrinkle free is always nice too, and you don't show a lot of skin, and your clothes aren't too tight...teachers don't care if you are the best dressed, as much fun as fashion is, teachers don't care.

Clean, neat appearance - if you don't know what that is, ask your teacher. You're there to learn. Paying attention in class, not skipping class, doing your homework, and completing assignments done on time is what gains respect.

First day of school is over - if you dressed like a hoe until now, but were a good student, your teacher will still respect you. Although i think teachers should tell kids if they're dressing unappropriately don't u think?

Just don't if u are a girl wear too short a skirt r too low cut a blouse. MAIN THING IS TO HAVE RESPECT FOR THEM AS WELL AS OTHERS. If u don't cause any trouble teachers view u as a good, well behaved person, participate when u can, help out when u can, JUST BE THE BEST U THAT U CAN. Its not about grades, who u date, even if u r in clubs or the in crowd...its just how u act.

Just dress decently. Then you will gain respect not only from your teachers, but your parents (and even your friends). You will gain respect from everyone that sees you. When I see some of these women and girls in stores and other public places dressed like twenty five cent hookers it makes me disgusted along with most other people. I've even heard men make remarks about how disgusting these women look.

Dress in a way that is acceptable...like not wearing mini skirts or a collar shirt that is showing your chest. Dress in a way that shows that you are ready to learn and have an avid mind. And I am sure that you would gain much respect from your teacher.

Something that is clean, fits you well, and doesn't show a lot of skin or is super-hyper-trendy or label-conscious. No need to look like a nerd, no one likes nerds, but you don't want to look too superficial or shallow either. Teachers expect you to follow fashion, but will respect you if you dress like you have some respect for yourself as well.

You should wear something that follows the dresscode.

If you wear a t-shirt, make sure it doesn't have any mean or sassy messages. Happy Bunny and some Hollister or A&F shirts would probably not be good shirts to wear.

Don't wear anything revealing or something that makes you look older than your age.

Dress conservatively, but don't go overboard with it. If your school dress code say t-shirts are okay, wear a polo or a button down shirt. If jeans are ok, make sure they're clean, no fake fade marks or rips or frayed hems. Just look neat and clean.

Respect doesn't come from clothing... it comes from treating the teachers appropriately. Paying attention in class, being considerate to classmates, trying to do their best.

A student should wear appropriate clothing to the dress code... appropriate tops, no foul language, no underwear showing, etc.
