Microfiber is definitely the future when it comes to exterior car care. Now if you are washing your car by hosing down the car and then have a bucket full of suds then microfiber would not be the best solution.

You see microfiber actually will trap dirt in its fibers and can actually end up adding little cobweb scratches in your paint over time. That part should be done with a high quality wool (real not fake) mitt, that you rinse off in a different bucket of just water after applying it to a dirty panel.

where microfiber is great is for removing various sealants, waxes, and polishes.

Be careful though, not all microfibers are the same! many ones you find at your local stores are of poor quality. keep an eye out because many have rough edges than can introduce more scratches to you paint. snip those away.

I've found that if you need an OTC microfiber towel that Targets Vroom brand is one of the best, the orange 'premium' ones are pretty good.

Final note is there is a better way to wash your car and I'll just add the link here:

I would use a good wash mitt it doesn't really matter if its a lower price one as long as you just use it on the exterior paint and thats it period dont use it in the door jambs , tires or rims , or any other part that is going to ruin the mittt once its really dirty or the mit falls on the ground its done with small rocks and other nasty stuff can stay in it and scratch up your paint ... Not good ... as far as drying the vehicle a shammy also doesn't have to be an expensive one wont scratch your car like terry cloth towels and just like the mitt just use it on the paint ... the only thing I have used the microfiber cloth for is spray wax (detailing spray) and only when the car has a very light coat of dust ..

i've got not somewhat graduated as much as thongs. tell me costly, what are the advantages and disadvantages of thongs? i come across them rather eye-catching on females, yet they do no longer turn me on with adult males!
