Ask your mom to take you to Plato's Closet. It's a resale shop that has a lot of high end clothes in great condition and at a lower price. Also, ask her about going on Ebay to get nice clothes for less. If she won't let you buy any new clothes, take all of your clothes together one day and mix and match tops and bottoms that match into outfits. Take pictures of the outfits you make and keep the photos. Everyday, take one of the pictures and find the clothes to make the outfit. Also, ask your friends to have a clothes trading party. Make sure to only invite friends who share your size, or else it could turn out in a very bad way!

Seriously, check out garage sales. I always see Abercrombie, Gap, Amer.Eagle, etc and other name brand clothing that is gently used being sold for only a couple $$ apiece. I used to think that only 'trailer trash' went to them, but now I LOVE them because I can find such a great variety of nice stuff for dirt cheap.

You could take the clothing that you don't wear to a consignment shop and sell them. Try resell shops, Goodwill stores, for clothing that is cheap. Trade clothing with friends. Go to garage sales, yard sales. Get creative!

If you have clothes you don't want, find a place that consigns clothes. If they buy the clothes off of you right away, take that $ and buy some new things at the shop there. Or, look on ebay.
Definately consign or ebay your old clothes.

you could get a babysitting job and stop being so selfish etc... you have clothes in the closet so work it around change stuff up and screw what them spoiled *** kids in school say .. i was raised in a single parent home and all my mom could get me was 5 items for school and 1 pair of shoes.. so i go innovative I'd shift some clothes around and she was good at letting me wear some of her shirts etc. but once i got 15 i got a part time job and worked weekends and helped take the slack out of her stress of trying to pay a Carnote , rent, and buy food for us. so I'd buy my own school supplies and clothes .. you have to understand being and adult doesn't make your life easier it actually gets harder as and adult because you have responsibilities such as bills and your paycheck no matter how much you make just don't stretch at all. i have no kids ,but I'm married i make $15 hr and my husband makes $20hr an its still hard to purchase groceries, pay car notes, rent and etc.. we use to go out all the time for dinner and a movie but no its hard to fit in the budget.. just help your mom out and try not to complain try and help her in this hard time be blessed that you have a mom and not living in a adoption home like kids whom parents are in prison or dead or they were abandoned.. just help her out and don't sulk and make her feel more depressed that what she already does and believe me she is depressed because i can remember my mom crying in her room and things when it came time for me to have school stuff or for bills.. then out the blue she'd have the money and i'd have the clothes. but i was too selfish to ask where and how she got them.. all i cared about was my guess jeans etc.. jus think of the hell shes going through

why not thrift? i find lots of incredible used clothes that are in awesome condition at local thrift stores--it works well for me bcuz i love vintage and eccentric style clothes---as for jeans --i find all kinds of namebrand stuff too, like silver mavi gap express --the stuff is like brand new---the only bad thing is lots of times you wade through junk clothes for hours only to find a couple great things...i usually go everyother sat to the local shops...the best thing is its like 5 $ for jeans sometimes less and 3 $ for shirts--i love it!!

Money isn't everything when it comes to your wardrobe. I get by on about $50 worth of new clothes every year.
