Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is a group of symptoms related to the menstrual cycle. PMS symptoms occur in the week or two weeks before your period (menstruation or monthly bleeding). The symptoms usually go away after your period starts. PMS may interfere with your normal activities at home, school, or work. Menopause, when monthly periods stop, brings an end to PMS.

pre menstral syndrome... it's when its "that time of the month" and girls get their period and they get grumpy. when people say that you have pms, it's prolly because they thought you were mean or getting irritated easily. becasue that's what happens when it's "that time of the month". i didn't know that for a little while when i was younger either.

everyone kept on saying pms pms pms... and i was like,"what the heck is pms?!"

ps. good job for asking.
