All you can do is the give your best audition. The casting is out of your control. In some cases, the director may want to give someone else an opportunity. Or maybe the director will want someone tried and true (you). Do your best at the audition, and at whatever role you earn.

Oh! Grease is one of my favorites! Although Sandy is a great part and one of my favs too, think about other roles you might want to get (my other favs are Marty and Patty). They are so fun! I guarentee whatever role you get you'll have so much fun! I surely had fun when I did Grease.

Maybe sing a song sounds like something that Sandy would sing. Also make sure you show not only the good sandy, but the bad sandy in you as well!

Anyway break a leg, I'm sure you'll do fabulously!

Well, I did Grease and Sandy doesn't do a lot of singing, if that's what you are into. Rizzo is a cool part and has a lot of singing. Leads aren't everything, there are little parts that are good too.

Welcome to the wonderful world of acting! Sometimes you get the lead, sometimes you don't. I've been in your shoes, and I've lost roles that I really wanted because the director wanted new faces.

If you're doing shows because you love acting, it doesn't really matter what role you get, as long as you get one. Sink your teeth into whatever role you get, make it your own, and knock their socks off. If you aren't having fun with every role, you're in the wrong business.

You know what? At some point your writing style just sort of pissed me off, and I didn't care any more. Perhaps it was the Me... Me... Me... attitude. Perhaps it was the piss poor job of spelling. Perhaps it was simply your lazy attitude towards writing in general... but I simply lost interest.

Somehow I get the feeling that the director is tired of your crap too.

if you are good it shouldnt make a difference--unless it is a school play and they must spread the roles out to make it fair..
good luck
