no, astronomers gave the name "planet x" (x meaning unknown) to a hypothetical planet orbiting beyond neptune to explain deviations in the orbits of uranus and neptune, but none was found. today, astronomers do not see any unexplained deviations in any planet's orbit.

Probably not in the old sense... Planet X is a remenant from the old day when we used to consider Pluto a full blown planet.

That far out, there is a lot of space junk which scientists call the Kuiper belt. There is a bunch of icy debris just lying about. Pluto happens to be the biggest conglomeration of this space junk. There may be others but nothing has been found that merits actually being called a planet.

I think you mean 'astronomers' have found a new planet, not 'astronauts'. New planets are discovered all the time, some within our own system, so that's why the IAU changed (refined) the definition of planet. We aren't adding any more to the 'official list' inside our system, but we find planet-sized objects in the Keiper Belt all the time.

Theory based on bible prophecy that there is another earth, identical to the one we live on but currently pure and empty, in the same orbit as earth but just opposite us so that we will never see it since the sun is always in the way of seeing it. When this earth and all the evil ones are destroyed, the good ones go to planet X, the other earth to live forever as we were originally designed to do. (The "X" by the way is unknown, not Roman numeral 10).

For just one of the planet X theories, see below:

Planet X is the hypothetical planet we thought was orbiting beyond Pluto.

planet x is a highly theoretical conception that there is a "twin" earth on the other side of the sun.there has been no exact mathmatical conformation of this planet, but there have been unexplained variences in the magnetic influence on the opposite side of the sun. these are the same ones that we beleive our earth to cause, leading to the suspicion that there really might be a planet on the other side of the sun .

There is no Planet X. Nibiru is one of many crack-pot ideas about an undiscovered planet in our solar system - you can find some info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nibiru_%28hypothetical_planet%29
