Colder climates call for more antifreeze. Go to your local parts store and they can tell you for your local area.

Well if you want the standard mixture, 50/50 is the best. It really depends on where you live. If say you live in a cold climite, 70/30 is better.
So how much will it hold
50/50= i gal
70/30 1 1/2 gal

Do not buy the pre mixed stuff.
Say it cost 8.00 for 1 gal you just spent $4.00 for a half a gal of water.
So here is how to do it
Open cock on radiator and drain out water.
Remove bottom radiator hose to drain the block.
Reinstall hose and close radiator pep cock.
Pour in the antifreeze according to about antifreeze chart.
Fill the rest with water.
Start car and warm up untill theromost opens and water level drops.
Fill the rest with water.
Hope this helps
There you have it

if it is completely empty depending on if it's a 4 cylinder or 6...between 2 to 3 gallons. Be sure to use a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and water.
