bf and i are ttc and i ovulated on the 6th we had sex the same day...my period is due the 20th. is there a way ur body can tell that ur pregnant right at conception. please only serious answers!! Please don't just say go to the dr.

If an egg was fertilized, implantation (when the embryo implants to the lining of your uterus) happens, on average, about 7 days past ovulation. It can happen as early as five days past ovulation or as late as twelve days past ovulation.
Early signs of Pregnancy:
Nausea/vomiting
Headache
Food cravings
Heightened sense of smell
Missed period
Backache
Crampy
Extreme fatigue
Tender/swollen breasts
Frequent trips to the bathroom
These signs can appear as soon as implantation or anytime after, each woman is different! Some women have all of these, some have a few and some women don't have any signs.

No ... but you can take the EPT about 5 days before your period is due. I wouldn't waste the money wait till you miss your period and then take a test that way your a little more sure then I had sex I might be pregnant. That way your not testing every other day.

Take a home test. Your body usually knows in 3 days when the hormones start changing.

Your best bet is to just wait and see if you miss your next period..Assuming you do then I would take a test..Or you could go and see your doctor and ask him to do a blood test..This would tell you earlier as the pregnancy hormone is in the blood..

your body and his are trying to tell the two of you idiots to get married first before having kids. What happens if you have a kid and then break up. How fair is that to the child. If you get married at least you are attempting to make a committment to yourselves and the future.

Yes, there are early pregnancy tests out there, I took mine a week before my period was due, and it was a definete positive....they say 3 days before your period, but it is always worth a try, mine came out positive earlier. good luck

very early signs of pg (at least for me) have been cramping (a little different than before period) and tingly/sore breasts. you can now take a pg test around 3-4 days before your period. i recently did and it showed positive (so they do work -- AND mine was purchased at the dollar store!).
