my boyfriend is of average body type. he has the best personality, he's funny, witty, charming, sweet, romantic, intelligent...and he's really good looking. he has the most beautiful brown eyes, and has a goatee...anyways i digress. most of my friends (that are girls) say that personality win them over,not so much what their body looks like. my friend, really pretty blonde girl, her boyfriend is like 6 foot and 230 pounds, but he treats her good and all that good stuff so she doesn't care what his body is. but i like to feel to protected, so a guy bigger than me (taller and bulkier). my boyfriend is so protective of me, i love it! hope this helps! :D

It's rather hard to answer without taking a real "survey" of a lot of women. My personal preference is someone at least 4 inches taller than me. Lean and muscular but not overly bulky. I don't like to feel "overwhelmed" by my guy, but then again I am more of a controlling personality. A lot of women do prefer more of a football-player type physique so they feel "protected". If I had to guess, women in general want a man who's somewhat taller than them, with muscle definition and a low body fat.
