Typing backwards?

Question

I'm very confused. I have an IBM thinkpad laptop and when I type, sometimes my fingers hit the wrong keys and I somehow end up hitting a couple that makes the words type in backwards. Like "hello" ends up coming in as "olleh"?? The only way I know how to UNdo this is to restart my computer.

Anybody happen to know what keys I'm hitting so that I can stop doing this? LOL

ahaha! Don't tease me! Tell me how to fix it! PLEASE? lol

It's not a Word problem. It's with everything, like typing in input boxes like this one.

You don't have to restart to undo this.
Word has an "undo" button on the formatting toolbar. It looks like an upward arrow pointing left. You could also use Control + Z.

If you find yourself constantly typing certain words incorrectly, you can put them in autocorrect. For example, olleh:

click tools
click autocorrect


type olleh in the “replace” box

type the word hello in the “with” box

click Add

click Replace
click o.k.


now, type hello and press the spacebar

you will see olleh quickly replaced by hello

you can add other troublesome words.

At any rate, sorry, I couldn't resist.

The best I can do is suggest a call to Customer Service- they usually have an 800# of some sort where you can eventually get ahold of a technician who walks you through the problem step-by-step.
