There was a point in time where I could not even keep water down but I do remember tea making me throw up. The worst was throwing up milk that was still cold as it came out yet curdled from my stomach acid...sorry, too much info.

So yeah I think you are ok. It just really sucks. I mean I would throw up all day long and sometimes wouldnt even have anything to throw up.

Some things that you may have liked before could now become your worst nightmare. It got to the point where even hearing the words "ricotta cheese" made me gag and throw up. It was because all it made me think of was that nasty slow mixing sound when you stir egg into it, lol. Ew, Im gonna gag now.

Yes, I found that from about 6 weeks I couldn't stand tea or coffee, but water should be alright. I didn't really vomit, just felt nauseous when smelling things like garlic and onion. Oh, I hated meat too. At exactly 15 weeks in all three of my pregnancies I suddenly realised that I felt fine again, but I still didn't start back with the coffee, because I figured if I am off it I might as well stay off for the pregnancy - it wasn't going to do the baby any good anyway and I didn't particularly crave it.
I guess you are seeing a doctor or attending a clinic soon - you don't want to get dehydrated from not being able to drink any liquids.
Hope you feel better soon!

I'm 31 weeks pregnant and just about EVERYTHING I drink seems to make me feel sick!

Water is hard to drink for some reason, it seems to make me feel really nauseous, and I have no idea why!

Orange squash makes me feel really bad, although I drank a lot of it at the beginning of my pregnancy.

The one thing I cannot drink is anything fizzy because that makes me really ill.

If I have tea I can only sip it, drinking it too quickly will make me ill.

For the first few months of my pregnancy I couldn't touch green tea, which I love normally. I just felt so nauseous and really couldn't face it. I can drink it again now but only in small amounts.

You could try drinking herbal tea or drinking your tea without milk - sometimes its the milk that sets you off.

The other thing to do is drink anything in small sips.

I've still sipping at a glass of water which I've been "working on" for hours! Sometimes I get so thirsty and I know the water is going to make me feel sick so I just suck/crunch on ice cubes or ice pops!

So yeah I know exactly where you're coming from.

Poor you!! I had 4 kids and the first sign I was pregnant was not wanting that cup of tea in the mornings!! I would have nothing at all until mid morning and found milk really cold was the thing I was able to keep down. This went on for the first 3 months, then I couldn't even look at a potato never mind peel one without wanting to throw up!! nothing is normal ever again love, your life is gonna be turned upside down and inside out and one day you will know how right I was!!! Enjoy it !!

When I was pregnant I drank tea in the morning and it always got me sick. Of course, I thought it was morning sickness but I eventually figured out that just before I would start having the tea I always took my prenatal vitamin. I think the warm tea or even just drinking a lot of liquid after taking the vitamin broke down the vitamin faster in my stomach and that was causing the sickness. I started taking the vitamin at night with just a couple sips of water and the whole throwing up thing stopped. Unfortunately, I figured this out in my 10th week of pregnancy so I was close to my 2nd trimester which may have been why the sickness subsided.

Actually, for me, I felt better when drinking a warm cup of tea. But every woman and every pregnancy is different. You are very early in pregnancy but it isn't too early to start having "morning" sickness. The strangest things can cause you to become sick. I used to love M&Ms. With this third pregnancy I cannot go near them. Some things make me sick just THINKING about them. I'm 19 weeks so I don't get sick so easily but early on if someone just talked about green peppers or onions I'd be in the bathroom with my head in the toilet.

There is no rhyme or reason to any of it. You'll get sick from the weirdest things and you'll start to crave weird things. That is pregnancy.

Yes. Both tea and coffee made me projectile vomit before I even knew I was pregnant (I thought I had a stomach bug!). I could drink weak tea from about 24 weeks, but I couldn't touch coffee until about 6 weeks after my baby was born. Prior to that, I couldn't even stand the smell of coffee and I was a complete tea and coffee addict before I got pregnant.

I also went off chocolate as well for my entire pregnancy.

A cup of tea always stopped me feeling sick when I was pregnant! We're all individuals! The first few weeks are particularly bad for feeling nauseous all the time, please don't worry. You will soon feel fine. Try to keep eating, and don't be tempted to take medication. Good luck! Ginger nut biscuits are really good at stopping the sick feeling, or even raw root ginger if u can.

Be careful with Herbal Teas for sure. You did not specify what kind of tea it was but make sure you read and learn about an herbal teas that you drink. Some common ones like Chamomile can cause things like miscarriage or developmental problems.

As for getting sick, your body may just not like this of it could be basic morning sickness. If you get sick from it, don't drink it. You do have to keep hydrated though and if you are having trouble with drinking water you could try popcicles or ice chips to help get some fluids.

It is sort of trial and error.

When I was pregnant the meer thought of food made me feel nauseous for the first few months..

With 2 of my pregnancy's the feeling went away after 3 months with the 3rd I got into a morning ritual... Get up have first breakfast (usually bowl of cereal or something else nice and soft so it didn't scratch my throat on it's return appearance) vomit, have second breakfast and go on with my day.... I spent the rest of the day somewhat nauseous but after the morning vomit I was good to go the rest of the day without actually getting sick.. The cycle of nausea lasted all 9 months with that pregnancy... Even the day of delivery... But once you get a cycle you can live with it's not bad at all...

Most people get over the nausea after a couple months... In the meantime avoid smells, flavors, textures that seem to upset your system... And remember what the bible said "And it came to pass"... not to stay....
