When you travel to "the ends of the earth" - you will never get there, you will eventually end up where you started. You will travel in two dimensions because you are bound to the earth's surface.
Perhaps, if we traveled to the "ends of the universe", we will also end up where we started. This is a bit more complex then the earth's analogy only because it is a three dimensional journey ... and infinitely more immense, and definitely more difficult to visualize.

Ever hear of a Mobius strip? Take a strip of paper and give it a half twist. Glue the ends together and you have an object with only one surface. Try to draw a line on only one side, and you will find that you can't. Some theorize that the endlessness of space is a similar illusion. That the third dimension has curvature that folds back in on itself in a way that we cannot perceive.

What problem?

You started with an unproved premise and incorrectly concluded something from that.
