well if by "catch" you mean fasten, it depends if you're putting it on, or putting it on someone else. If you're putting it on (no judgement here) the easy way is to put it on with the clasp in the front where you can see them and fasten them, then turn it around so the cups are in the front and put the straps on. Don't really know what the question was but I hope that was helpful.

First, have someone stand in front of you with one. Tell them to throw it and you use your arms and hands to catch it.

Most people do it the way Dee suggests until they become more familiar with them and coordinated enough to do it by feel.
