So I am an advanced pianist and late intermediate on the violin. I really want to pick up a band instrument but I am having trouble deciding which one. My only request is that I do not want to play a low, low instrument (like the string equivalent of the bass). Any help?

well if u like the more mellow sound u should play a woodwind the flute or clarinet or sax but if u like the more brassy sound then play the trumpet trombone or the french horn or even the tube. but if u like loud things or like to bang on stuff then play the drums.

I was once going to mention definite, every person has a existence, it doesn't matter what they are doing with it. But then I spotted your preoccupation with what the folks at your college suppose. First off, they are pathetic. The entire cool, modern-day, preferred factor is so very 90s. It does not exist. It's puffed up. People will have to comply with what they are into, no longer what every person else is into. If it is your ardour, opt for it. You'll more often than not nonetheless be gambling your track in 10 years, and you'll be able to be satisfactory at it. But the ones little cheerleaders and crap will likely be screwing a few man in a Camaro best to uncover that their blonde little butts are pregnant with twins and the father does not care approximately her, he best cared approximately her tetasss, similar to all of the men in prime college. Feel larger?

I think you should learn to play the clarinet. It may sound hard but it is really easy to play i played it for band at my school. It is easy to memorize the keys. The handling of the instrument is very easy as well. I think if you try it you may like it so give it a try.

I like the clarinet. I played one for years and I still think is has the sweetest tone and it is light and portable. It lends itself to jazz and popular music as well. Definitely clarinet!
