Ground Zero is just the term the government and media has used to inflate the emotions and feelings that are associated with the 9/11 attacks. Also because everyone knew/knows that retaliations would follow by both the united states and the radical Islamic world this is where it all started. Because it is the begining of a new war and new patriotism in america it is considered to be the first step or first act towards this war. Ground Zero is the term for this place because it fills people with the idea that this is where it all started.
