I think Jr handled the situation professionally! Really, minutes after he got out of the car the camera's were on him, he didn't even have time to regroup. But that's what professionals do, they act accordingly.
As far as everyone thinks Vickers was at fault, well then, you didn't really watch the race. It was Johnsons fault all the way around. He's tried to stay "clean" but him & his crew chief, a Mr. Chad Knauss, belong away from the track, any track. Johnson was the only one of the three to point a finger, if anyone noticed. It's always someone else's fault when he doesn't get to where he wants......awwwww....he's not professional in my book.
You can't blame Vickers, he might have been antsy, but it definitely was not his fault. Johnson let off the gas as soon as he knew he got loose, Vickers was behind him - tried to go down, boom-he bumps Johnson, Johnson goes into Jr. - nothing Jr. or Vickers could do about it.
I know that was more than your question asked, but I was so po'd that that was what happened.
Yes, Jr. was classy.

He handled himself very well sounding like his dad by not putting the blame on anyone. Plus he doesn't believe that Vickers did anything wrong. This is one of the best post race comments that I have seen Jr do in awhile since he isn't making any head way in the points.

I am not a Dale Jr. fan, but he did not deserve what happened to him today. The way he handled himself in the interview made me gain a lot of respect for him. He was a real class act.

Jr and Johnson just said what they had to on TV.
Vickers screwed them both up, the same as he did with Matt Kenseth when he wanted to win.
either Johnson or Jr. could have won the race but it would have been between 1st ans 2nd if it were not for Vickers.

I will add no more except Vickers should not have been given the win.

I was extremely shocked. Some of the drivers (not mentioning any names) would have screamed like a school girl. Jr showed an all too rare trait in NASCAR....knowing when racing is just racing. Jr should be proud of the way he handled it.

Plain and simple...Junior is one of the few class acts on the track. A lot of drivers need to take a lesson from Dale Jr. After what happened today Jr didn't place the blame, he didn't point fingers...he took it all in stride.

He made me proud today to be a lifetime Dale Jr fan but showing how much class he has! *Applauds Dale Jr*

Oh, come on, Jr. only handled that so calmly because he didn't want to get into trouble for cursing in front of the cameras. The real reaction will come when he has time to rehearse a curse-free response. That doesn't show class- that shows anger management class. And maybe a warning from step-mommy dearest.

As far as Jeff "whining" I can't imagine what everyone would say if others were as honest about what's going on as he is. I wonder if Jr. will come out later and say the same thing. Then will everyone say he's whining?

Junior acted like a true gentleman when he was interviewed. Junior is a nice guy, a clean racer, & isn't a cry baby. That's why I like him so much. Junior even congratulated Vickers, even though Brian didn't deserve it.

♥GO Dale Jr. #8♥

24 & wolfmusic, do everyone a favor & GROW UP!!!!!!!!

He was too calm, I would have liked to see a stronger reaction. Dale Jr just can't win for nothing (at Dega) anymore. He seems to be the unluckiest driver I know.

Jr. was awesome! I was really surprised at his reaction I thought he was going to blow up! He was very classy and mature.
On another note I thought it was funny when Johnson said he wanted to see the video of it. He's the one that's going to blow up this week!
