when you sing you need air/breath to let the voice out, the more air you breathed in the longer the note will carry

If you ask more precisely, you'll get better answers.

If you become good at playing a wind instrument like bagpipes, you can develop the skill of blowing with just the air in your mouth and cheeks while breathing in through your nose. Combine that with the air reservor in the bag, you can play a note on the bagpipes indefinitely.

You can 'sing' while inhaling. The vocal cords are more practiced and more efficient with outgoing air, so probably no one can hold a note while inhaling longer than they can while exhaling.

Air is the source and driving mechanism for a lot of sounds from singing to playing the trumpet. The more air you have the longer you can sustain a note.

Because you have to stop the note when you need air. Breathing alot before prolongs this time. its the same as when you breathe in to hold your breath underwater

If you are talking about producing music (by instrument of vocally), the more air you breathe in allows more push from your diaphragm. The diaphragm is where you push from to power your voice (through yourself or an instrument).

im just gona be honest, no one has read this question and thought "Wow, what an intelligent question"

Just think, think for one moment, and then post your question. The note is caused by you pushing air out your lungs and the vibration caused by the vocal chord. so what happens when you push all the air out? you cant make any noise.
