The secret is to sell your weakness as a strength which is unique to you.
For example you could say something like- I find myself paying attention to every detail and i keep checking on things whether they were done correctly all the time. something like that
but unique to you
hope that helps

A good Interview Board will hopefully be looking for honesty and sincerity. So it is a simple matter of being ' dressed ' for the occasion and being well prepared for the INTERVIEW by making sure you have a fair knowledge of your subject. I can tell you that the Board will over a period have , " heard it all before ". Just be yourself and if you are deserving of the 'job' no doubt you will succeed Do not try to bluff an answer, because often at least one member of the interview board may deliberately set you that awkward question to get that very re action. Good Luck

people always say the perfectionist thing. having interviewed a few people and also being interviewed myself, the best thing to say is the truth (without being too honest!). For example, if in the past you'd been a little bored in your job then turn it into a positive thing by saying that in the past youve not felt challenged but you're so keen to work in sales, or whatever it is that you feel you'd be constantly challenged. Say everything about the exciting environment you'll be working in, or the fact that you're looking to the future and are really enthusiastic about where you can go within your new career etc etc. Mention a weakness fleetingly, then go on about the job/business/company and how much you are suited to it. Even if it's all bollocks. x

A catch 22 question.

Tell the interviewer you have no weaknesses that you are aware of, but if there is any aspect of the job which you have had none or little experience of, you are more than willing to learn or be guided. You should tell the interviewer you are a fast learner and have a retention span of knowledge and experience useful in any team keen to work to fine detail or targets.

I think I would say that my weakness of character is being a perfectionist and wanting everything done properly.

A strength can be a weakness. 'I have high expectations of myself and others, demanding the best of everything'. Others might not be able to cope with your expectations. Strength or weakness? 'I am meticulous in all my work. Because of that, sometimes it takes a little longer to complete the task'. Strength or weakness? ;-)

You could say that you dont have any particular weaknesses at the moment but mention one that you did have previously but then say you worked on it and describe what you did and it`s not a problem for you now.

Kindness. Some people see it as a weakness, but I wouldn't wish to be anything but kind. And if my potential employers don't want someone kind, then I couldn't be happy with them.

Sometimes I'm too darn ambitious for my own good. I truly want to succeed and occasionally am a little impatient for the results of my effort.
