I try to be very open-minded about everything, since I am old as the hills. I have to say that there is some rap music that I enjoy and some that literally drives me up a wall! But I have the same feelings for other genres of music, there are some I like really well and others in the same genre that I can't stand. I like some and dislike some in all genres! But I do like all kinds of music! I did not go to the site, If this kid makes it big, I will decide then. I hope this helps.

Ha@rap music being called "crap" by all these pale faces on here, yet it's pupularity has skyrocketed because of such faces buying it like candy. I know you all listen to it and shake your a s s to it when no ones around. All s h i t t y music is crap regardless of the genre. Hip-Hop, sometimes referred to as rap, is more than just music. It's a lifestyle and a form of self expression. There are a few artists out there who make me ashamed to even listen to it, but it's influenced a lot of other genres as well. Who cares if you think it's a pathetic attempt at poetry. I bet your kids think otherwise. Now, that guy's s h i t is crap. I'd prefer rap music over screaming crybaby rock music anyday.

Blindly hating one music genre is just as stupid as blindly hating one race. People who hate rap fail to see it for what it is (or at least what it was). Rap, just like any other form of music, is a means of self-expression; the part that of it that is bad is that people who can't (or just plain don't) think for themselves go out and try to follow in the footsteps of these people even though they are totally ignorant of the consequences.
