Does Spanx really work ?

and does it do a good job at hiding/lower the appearance of your weight?

i work in dentistry and some patients who come into my office get to talking with me and many of them swear by spanx if what they are trying to cover is baby weight in the belly or to lift their bottoms. it really looks like they just lost about 8-10 pounds since their last visit. i can never tell they are wearing anything, they just look reshaped and trim. i am not sure what the fabric is or if its comfortable or not, but i can definitely tell an appearance of weight loss on my patients who wear it.

They help hold you in and hide your belly and thighs, but there is a cheaper version of Spanx you can buy at target called Assets.

It only helps if you have little areas that your trying to hide or shape...if your bulging out of the top of your pants then this wont work but the gym will...

If you don't have much to hide, they work great; if you have a lot, the benefit is mostly in your mind!

I know a few women that have tryed them and they give them great reviews so try a pair on at a store and see what you think.

Yeah, they work. It does make you look like you lost a few pounds.

spandex(if that is what you are talking about) is used usually for your cloths realted to working out .. but yes i could see it holding in some of your excess skin and slimming your figure.
