Generally, teething begins around 4 months, you may not even see any teeth or little teeth buds. Babies can teeth for months before they even cut their first tooth. Some symptoms can be excessive drool, fussiness etc. You can try buying some teething tablets, teething rings, a washcloth that has been frozen..if the fussiness and teething worsens you can try baby tylenol. Good luck!

I think it really does just vary with each child. My daughter got her first two teeth at 5 months and now at nine months has six teeth total. However, a friend of mine has a baby one week older than my daughter and he still hasn't got a tooth. She said the doctor says it was fine and that babies can start teething as early as 2-3 months and as late as 12-18 months. If I had to give an average though I'd say about 6 months or so? Hope this helps a little :)

My son had 2 teeth by 3 months and 14 teeth at a year. Teething occurs differently with everyone. Most are around 5 months when the first tooth pops through.

I think around 6-8 months is normal for a baby's teeth to start coming in, although the pain of teething starts around 4 or 5 months.

Babies develop in ALL phase of their growth at their own pace Some babies start teething as young as 3 months some don't start until after a year.

Both of my children started teething at 2-3 months old but didn't get teeth untill several months later. It's really hard on them. When your baby does start teething you may want to buy some teething tablets they help and they are supposed to be all natural. It helped my daughter but nothing helped my son.
Good luck.

It can vary big time. I'm not sure if there really is an average. My son had 2 teeth at 3 months old. My best friend's son got his first one after he turned 1. But before they come, they're gums will swell up and get really red. And when they're about to break through you should be able to see while right under the skin.

Babies start teething anywhere from 3 months and on, but it's a slow process. The first tooth typically doesn't emerge until about 6 months.
You'll know it's starting when your baby starts drooling a lot, sucking or chewing on her hands or toys a lot more, or she cries for no apparent reason but stops fussing when you massage her gums.
You can also usually notice her bottom gums (most babies cut their bottom front teeth first) will be slightly swollen.
When she is teething and cries from the soreness, baby Orajel or Anbisol is fast relief, coupled with infant Tylenol for long-lasting relief. Also, popsicles work wonders!

It varies from child to child some are born with a tooth other dont get any until after their 1st bday. My daughter teethes at 9 months while my son was 11 month. There is a wives tale saying those who get their teeth late have no dental problems in life
