I've known this guy about 5-6 years. He married, and his wife cheats on him, and has for a long time. Rectently I developed a crush on him. I've sorta let on and he tells me how happy i make him when he sees me, we flirt all the time but I dont want to start anything if hes married , and I dont want anything to change our friendship. Do I just ignore my feelings?

you left out an important part. Does he know his wife is cheating on him? If he doesn't then he needs to know.

This is a gray area, and in my opinoin, I dont know what that guy is stil ldoing with his wife if she's cheating on him. First of all, he needs to get out of that unhealthy relationship, then, you guys can start something up, but after the wife is out of the picture. If you pursue your feelings now, things could get really ugly. But, if he wont leave his wife, then you should either suppress those feelings. But if that isn't possible, then you need to give distance between yo uand him because seeing him will only flare up those feelings.

I think you should use the fact that his wife is cheating on him to your advantage. Tell him how you feel about him because chances are that he feels the same way about you. If you already flirt with eachother, it is obvious that he likes you. Let him know that his wife is cheating on him and you are telling him because he deserves better. Make him reminice on all of the good time you had together, and tell him that you love him. Doing that will either lead to you being his next wife, or your friendship will become a lot stronger.

Yes, until he is divorced. When he is divorced he may not seem as interesting. But don't be the other woman. You are surely above that. Even if his wife cheats. 2 wrongs don't make a right.

If he is your best friend, then u should Tell him about his wife, but don't tell him just cuz u want him to leave her, u must tell him only cuz he is your friend... u have to ignore your feelings right now unfortunately.... let him go through what he has to go through, just be his friend for now, once everything is settled, if he leaves his wife u can tell him u like him or if he chooses to forgive her then u must step back.... that's the right thing to do!

whether his wife cheats or not isn't the issue. If she cheats and he knows that he has chosen that. He is fully capable of leaving, and so it is still not ok to do anything as long as he is married.

I say ignore them for now! Because he's still married! And even though that sucks you have to respect the fact that he's still married! I would hate it if somebody did that to me! Tell him to get a divorce from her and tell him to make up his mind on who he wants! That's what I would do! Hope this helps!

best to wait on him honey , you may be rejected sence he is still married. he will only respect you more in the longrun. and if he did this while he is still married , you really could not trust him in the long run...so wait it out.
