The vast majority of sexual couplings are done for pleasure, rather than for procreation. People want to do what feels good to THEM, and what turns THEM on!

This has to be one of the dumbest questions I've ever read, and I can't believe I'm actually answering it, but oh well...Anyhow, the last time I checked, the world is getting quite overpopulated, and if people actually engaged in homosexuality as a form of birth control, then this might make the question a bit less ridiculous; alas, that is not the case- there is a large range of human potentialities, including different modalities and preferences in loving each other i.e. being homosexual. Besides that, not everyone is looking for kids- I know that I never want to have any.

people have sex because it exites them ,or did you not know that
,they are not looking for kids in the west ,that is in your mind maybe ,many countries opose more than 1 or 2 children such as Holland and China
the world is suffering because of over population,
Henry Kissinger ,Prince Philip and Bush have said at Bilderberg meetings that they will reduce the world population by 60%,
does that sound like looking for kids to you.
also Governments have been doing all kinds of sneeky things to make people infertile and impotent with food and drinks,
as well as raising the PH level to produce more homosexuals ,to combat over population.
so you reasoning is way of the truth
get you facts straight before you make wild statements like this.

same reason who people practice heterosexuality in over populated countries.
it has nothing to do with breading more people, it is sexual taste and desire and preference.
we are not animals that we only copulate to conceive, we also do it for physical and emotional pleasure and to show affection and to build bonds of closeness and as expressions of love...
most acts of intercourse are done with the act of NOT wanting to have a child, even between heterosexuals, why should that be any different between two people of the same sex.
