Halloween - Well first, I love horror films and slasher films in particular. This film was an independent film that was picked up later by a big studio. It is direced by one of my all time favorite directors - John Carpenter. The character of Michael Myers is so interesting to me. He cannot be killed and he killed his 16 yr old sister with a butcher knife. How many killers do you know that kill off their family and random people who either live in HIS house or get in his way. Michael Myers is a true psychopath, he knows where you are going before you do, that is how he gets there just as fast as you do. He is in tune with your thoughts. On top of all that, he is a very stiff person and takes full use of his perifial vision, hence not moving his neck. As well as using his hearing to tell where you are. It would take hours for me to fully explain my love for this film and I am sure that you have better things to do than to read this all day.

J.F.K. cause Oliver Stone rules and always makes a movie on a very controversal theme
The Schindler's List cause it's a great movie which STAYS in your memory forever
Saving private Ryan- cause it represents a man in the worst conditions and says a lot about war
The Shawshank Redemption-Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman, the exquisite story, everything
Leon(The Professional)-it's full of suspense and Jean Reno is just the perfect guy for the part

The Usual Suspects.
1. Excellent script - it won an oscar for it.
2. Perfect casting - even Stephen Baldwin (who can't act) gave an astonishing perfomance. But of course this is Kevin Spacey's movie. He deservedly won an oscar for it.
3. The ending is out of this world. I saw the movie many times to check out all the actor's performances and see whether Bryan Singer & his Gang cheated on the audience. Nope they didn't. All I can say about this movie (without giving anything away) is it requires your full attention. It is best that you watched it alone without any distraction & as I said, the ending is going to blow you away. I have never seen any movie before or since that matched this one.

Enter the Dragon with Bruce Lee and John Saxon. This is a breakthrough in martial arts, it open for future martial/action stars like Chuck Norrris, Jacky Chan, Jet Li, and Jean Claude Van Damme. A simple story with powerful scenes without computer enhanced screen. To this day, I watched the movie with my small kids, they are astonish to see how Bruce Lee moves in the screen, a powerful performer in his field.

STRIPES...I laugh every time I see it.
Bill Murray's facial expressions, and Harold Ramis as his half-witted sidekick keep me rolling!
True, this sort of thing is as likely to happen as the KKK loving Black people, it would be funny to watch it unfold.
Even some of the "lesser characters" are intersting: Psycho, Dog Face and even Sgt Hulka bring their own charm and style to a movie that does what it sets out to do...ENTERTAIN.
The idea of entertaining with regards to movies is to allow the viewer to escape reality, if only for a brief moment in time...
