You can't file for annulment, this is only for a marriage that is less then 6 months old but not more then 1 year. You need to get a old fashion divorce., good luck.

I am confused here. Are your children with your wife going to school (postsecondary education)? Support them in what way? You are beyond the annulment limitations. Divorce is the real word you are in need of.
Do you currently support your wife and household financially?
You agreed to marry your wife -- a life long commitment. I do not know your details, but she is probably thinking you are a real dog. So if you insist on cohabitating with another woman and raising a family (your children) with her, at least get divorced.
How can your wife destroy your professional job? Unless you are in a high profile position, there will probably not be a whole lot she can do in that respect unless she has serious ammo. A few raised eyebrows and maybe even a few cold shoulders, otherwise -- bring closure to what closed a long time ago.

If the children are over 21 tell her to go for it, she will get no where except thrown out of court. If you have not been living in the same household for 14 years another go for it on her part, you are in essence divorced just not on paper. Cohabitation is not illegal, courts have found the law unconstitutional. You will have to file for divorce though since you have 2 children. I would see a lawyer asap and get this bitter, controlling woman off your back!

There are steps you can take to actually build a strong, stable marriage and avoid divorce. Read here https://tr.im/9NK2E
Here are some key steps to apply to your marriage:
- Start by understanding and being informed.
You can never be too informed about tools, methods and studies about building successful marriages. Understand the risk factors like your age and maturity at marriage can determine how successful it will be, the anatomy of an affair and what you can do after infidelity. Understand the success factors like the personal and psychological circumstances that will influence your marriage, what are the tools and approaches available to you in dealing with conflict, and numerous other relevant data. All this information is readily available to you whether through self-help material, through a counselor, support group or other venues. In fact, we have made it our commitment to provide these to you in different formats to help you make the best marriage you can.
The thing is, remember, this is information is not available for you to begin hyper-psychoanalyzing your relationship, yourself and your partner. It's not a matter of spewing trivia for the sake of conversation ' information is there for you to ponder over and internalize to help you transform yourself and your marriage. That includes maturing to such a point that you become more competent in your knowledge but more prudent in approach.

if your kids are adults, there isnt anything she can do
Dude i waited 2 mos to file, and i was stupid for waiting so long, you are hella retarded.
You need to find out if your state has no-fault divorce. If it does you are in luck. Since you have been living apart for so long, you should have no problem getting a divorce. Contact a lawyer, it should be fairly simply.
My only word of warning to you is that even though you were apart everything that you ammased during 14 years, is 50% hers, so you might want to change the title of everything before your divorce.
My advice is to put all your junk in your mothers name, no one is in your corner like your mom, not even your new chick

first of all you are resonsible for the children, both money wise and raising them. Your best bet is go for the divorce. The court will tell you how much support you have to pay and will set up visitation rights. You support payment will be sent to clerk of courts office ,who will then keep track of it and then send her the check

Wow, you got me beat! We've only been without sex for 13 years. I don't feel so bad now! I haven't asked my husband for ANYTHING...I just want OUT of the marriage. All I need is to keep my benefits for health care. Oh, and half his retirement pay when he finally retires.
How can your wife expect child support if your and her children are adults? I don't get that part!
