omg thanks for askingArnall found that, while days technically get longer after Dec. 21, cyclonic weather systems take hold in January, bringing low, dark clouds to Britain. Meanwhile, the majority of people break their healthy resolutions six to seven days into the new year, and even the hangers-on have fallen off the wagon, torn off the nicotine patches and eaten the fridge empty by the third week. Any residual dregs of holiday cheer and family fun have kicked the bucket by Jan. 24.

“Following the initial thrill of New Year's celebrations and changing over a new leaf, reality starts to sink in,” Arnall said. “The realization coincides with the dark clouds rolling in and the obligation to pay off Christmas credit card bills.”

Who funded the study? Travel companies: "It seems that people are most likely to buy a ticket to paradise when they feel like hell." Heh.

Maybe why that's I'm feeling okay today: I just got back from a trip.

How are you feeling today, anyway? Think there's anything to this January 24 thing?

i came back from spain yesterday where i had a lovely time, when I got off the plane i was hungry so i bought food/drink at stanstead aeroport. I paid £3.49 for a dry roll with 3 wafer thin pieces of ham and 3 microscopically thin slices of tasteless cheese, and £2.69 for a bottle of orange juice. It was cold, raining and the first piece of domestic news i heard that it has been proposed that our household rubbish will be collected every 2 weeks rather than every week!!!! Yes I felt so good to be back in England! So to answer your question my weekend has been depressing. God I detest this country nowadays.

I'm not gay either so I hope you didn't want responses only from gay people. I'm guessing you're just being nice. We worked around the house yesterday. Today we went to Taste of St. Louis in Miss. Botanical Gardens. They had things like salsas, pastries, breads, jellys, spices, flowers, lawn ornaments, candy, candles, cookies and well, you get my drift. It's a beautiful day and we are full from eating all the samples. Hope you had a good one.

My weekend is going great, couldn't be better. I have been trying to become friends with a co worker of mine and I finally said something. I think things went well.

Boring.

I've finally come to the conclusion that I have finally snapped completly. I spent the whole weekend drunk watching season 1 of "That GirL" and getting all weepy about it.

This is not the way Black men are supposed to behave.

well not too much, i got to see my baby niece, and my grandparents came to visit. i asked if i could move to CA with them one day. i might since they didn't say no, but not a yes either however. Just as long as i have a job i could transfer to CA. I live in AZ. i hated it here. it's hot and humid. i hate humid. plus not many things are interesting there anymore. i hope i will find some friends in CA. maybe i will finally find someone in my life.

It's raining. It's cold. Turns out "As Nature Made Him" isn't such a great book. And the heating won't click on.

I've had better.
