Does anybody know how to use a Dell scanner? a Dell scanner?? I need help scanning.?

I have this Dell scanner/printer/fax machine you see but I just wanna learn how to use the scanner. I want to scan pics so that i can show it to my friends. Um, anybody know how to do that? Anybody?

I, too, have a Dell A-I-O. Mine came with an "Owner's Manual," didn't yours?

The manual says to scan:

1.Put the photo face down on the glass. Upper left corner of the frontof the photo aligns with the arrow on the printer.
2.Press Scan on the operator panel. (The Dell AIO Center appears.)
3. Click "Preview Now."
4. Adjust, by dragging, the dotted lines to fit around the portion of the photo you want to scan.
5. In the "Send Scanned Image to" box, cl the down arrow and select the photo program you want to use.
6. Change any settings.
7. When finished customizing your image, click "Scan Now."

When scanning is finished, the program you selected in No. 5 opens.

Adjust the photo in the program.
When finished, click File, Save.
(The photo will be saved in your photo program.)
Now, File, Save AS
Make a note of where you are saving the picture
Give it a name.
click the down-arrow on file-type and save it as a jpg.
jpg is pretty much accepted by most other programs.

If you have a manual, scan is listed in the contents in the beginning of the book.

I have one you usually just put the document face down on the scanner and hit the "SCAN" button. It will pop up a preview, on the computer, and then if it is how you want it you select "SCAN NOW" on the options that appear on the screen.

But if you are trying to use it for the first time you will need to go download the driver from the Dell website or call them and they will tell you where to get it from.
