Maybe I'm dreaming, or maybe there's finally one reasonable person in here?
Best of luck.

I agree.
The wole 9/11 truth movement is not placing blame, but is asking for the truth.
It is only because the government is hiding so much information that there is a claim of inside job.
If the government produced some real evidence, instaed of complelely unbelieveable fairy tales like the 9/11 Commission report, and then more recently the Nist report, then we would be able to obtain justice.
Whilever the government is inventing stories that even a first grader can see are obvious lies, there will be no justice.

We absolutely WILL come together...but only after the full scope of the events of that day, and this administration's legislative acts since, become agonizingly apparent.
We have been intentionally divided. Rather than ask us themselves, or read legislative documents for themselves, the right relies on it's propaganda machine to provide it's version of reality. As a result, the right spits when they say the word "liberal", and tell US what we think, getting it entirely wrong, but totally unwilling to listen.
Without discussion or rational argument, democracy has broken and dried up.
PNAC and this administration (all neo-conservatives, NOT Republicans per se), have duped their constituency into believing they are creating a country just for them. Nevermind that their attitude leaves half of America behind. Even the corner baker who swore allegiance to the Nazi party never supped at Hitler's table, but was merely the dog beneath his chair. The elitist PNAC is designing a world for itself. A world of power, dominance, and control. For the rest of us, it's called OPPRESSION.
America doesn't WANT to know the truth. It can't handle it...yet. We are in deep denial. Instead, we rely on the media owned by the very same elitists, who manipulate our beliefs to fit their purpose. For the right, they appealed to their fears, prejudices, xenophobia, and disatisfaction with our country's state of affairs, and pitted them against the rest of us. Divide (distract) and conquer.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."
Theodore Roosevelt, 1912
"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
Benjamin Franklin
Are Americans still "good" people?
We liberals are just about spit on for at least TRYING to do the right thing for ALL Americans. The right gets all smug, claims moral superiority, and wants a country that serves only them. No, not all Americans are good. Some are traitors to their very own people, out of self-interest and imagined superiority. They'll come around, once they realize the truth, and swallow their smugness...but I'm not holding my breath. They've already doomed us all.

Not all Americans are good or bad, like all countries there is a mix.
Please note that whilst you all mourned, many people in the world were pleased that terrorism had reached the US. Terrorism is heinous, cowardly and kills those least to blame, just as most people who died in 9/11 were cleaners and service staff, not corrupt, rich bussinessmen, politicians, etc.
Perhaps when filling Jeremy Adams buckets with cash, inviting him to the White House, and funding the deaths of men, women & children in Northern Ireland and the mainland of the UK, the Americans could have thought terrorism was bad then. (I had a friend blown up shopping in Warrington)
When funding Al-Qaeeda (then known as the Mujhaddin) to kill Russians, Americans could have thought, Um... Terrorism bad, peace good.
When initiating the Marsh Arab uprising against Saddam, resulting in the reprisals all too often mentioned by George W, the CIA could have thought terrorism bad, rather than a US foreign policy tool.
There is an old saying 'What goes around, comes around', and while my heart goes out to those who lost friends and family in 9/11, it does not go out to your nation. Ironic, in fact, that the planes involved should have come from the cities with the largest Irish-American communities and hit those same cities. (Perhaps, the IRA helped, as a thanks for those PLO training camps in Islamic Libya, and because the IRA are pro-communist!)

Thank you for the presumptive question and your kudos to Fr Chuck. There are millions that do not share his views because we know that the powers that be can and do use patsys to further their own agendas. For that very reason we can not and do not expect to ever find out the truth of what really happened on 9/11... except of course Cheney and the other NEOCONS have a spate of conscience.

very important point,, Bush stood atop the rubble from the world trade centers, a few days after the attacks of 9-11,, and said to the American people,, "I here You, and the people who knocked down these buildings are going to hear from all of us soon",, why Bush invaded Iraq is as big a question as why he allowed Osama bin Laden to escape justice and continue to train the Taliban militia,, which now have control in Afghanistan again

Not all Americans are good people there are good and bad in any nation or culture.
And yes those Americans who helped the Terrorists fly those planes into the buildigns need to be found and brought to justice. It is possile that there were Muslim American groups that helped either in the funding or in some manner with them.

We are all good Americans. Some people just think in different ways because they see the evidence that support their side.
