Dear Gregor
I was told women are 52% of the world's population but have only 4 % of the wealth.
If you measure equality by wealth then the Times rich list of women( in the UK) who earnt their own wealth included businesswomen and a number of Authors.
But does equality mean being treated all the same or being treated according to your needs?
We all hope to continue the fight against unfair discrimination, but we can't all be the same as we all have different skills.
blah, blah, blah, now I really am bored
Give us a context to your question please!
M

The question should have been whether "men can ever equal women". You look deep and you will be find women are the source of power. It is men who regulate this power. This has wrongly given the impression that men are more powerful than women.
It is like electricity (women). Electricty is regulated by users (= men). Electricity (the real power) is all powerful compared to the users (=men).
Moreover women are indeed versatile in all respects. In a sense men can only be inferior to women.
It is said that woman was God's last creation and after that He rested. Why? Because He knew He had finally reached perfection in the creation process.
Women must wake up and realise their unlimited potential.

Equal is a relative term. We work harder and longer hours if you include keeping a home, raising children, etc. for much less pay. Can I lift as much weight as a man? No, and do not wish to. Can a man give birth and suffer the things women do routinely? Probably not, nor should we wish them to. Each sex has a particular role in society and unfortunately those roles have become muddled. No, I am not a Bible thumper, far from it. I base my statements on the physiological differences. I do not believe the sexes were ever meant to be equal because you are not comparing like talents, skills, capabilities, and physical traits.

Women are equal, but many feminist, namely those above, seem to think that they have it so bad here in America. Quit your whining and contribute to society. Sometimes we get recognition and sometimes we don't. Deal with it and quit your immature whining about in equality.

No. They go through all the pain and difficulties of childbirth while the Men either sit back or abandon them. I would say they are quite a few steps above men.
