my friend wrote a letter givin me temporary custody of her newborn so the court want take him because she has an active cps case.And they came to my friend house the other day lookin for tge baby. do we have to do something else is there any legal forms we have to fill out?i been lookin online for forms i just don't know what to do. can sum1 help me and give me any advice

You need a lawyer. A piece of paper by anyone other than a court is not going to stop CPS. You can ask CPS to place the child with you as a temporary emergency placement, but if you are cooperating in deceiving CPS, they are unlikely to consider you.
