If this is the UK Conservatives, haven't you been listening to David. They won't have any policies for another 12 months, when they've seen who wins the next 'Big Brother', when TV chefs get sainthoods (and businessmen get peerages), and when they've collected enough clippings from the newspapers to formulate policies Rupert Murdoch will like.

Bush isn't a conservative. He's always been a moderate. He called it "compassionate conservativism". Unsure why.

There is no conservative party. Nor is there a liberal party.
