Hi I hav a game thath im trying to play I have installed it but when I try to play it a directX error pops up it says D3Derr_INVALIDCALL code:2156 facility 2166 severity:1? what does it mean and how do I fix it ?

The software is trying to make an invalid call to, access an invalid point in, DirectX.

There is no way you can personally to fix this. Instead, make sure you have the latest version of DirectX for your computer and check the software company's web site for an update. Finally, make sure the software is compatible with the version of DirectX installed on your computer (should be listed in the software requirements).

Click the uninstall link from the control panel's 'add and remove programs' icon. Once it prompts you to uninstall, to the right there will be a 'repair' button. Click on the repair button and it should restore your missing files.

If all else fails, go to the official website and update / reinstall your version, as it may just be outdated. Good luck!
