Bearing in mind that the Rocky Franchise is one of the greatest ever rags to riches/Feel good film. Will it actually work with a 60 yr old in the ring??
I personally dont see why not... But do you? give me good reasons. (Maybe watch the trailer and make your mind up)

Ha ha that last answer's spot on! I'll just say that I grew up with and loved the Rocky films so I hope for the best but when I heard that it was Rocky Balboa in the ring and not his son or protege, or even just a film about Rocky getting by in the real world, my heart sank a bit. It will probably be crap but I'll definitely be handing over my cash at the cinema for old time's sake!
Critics slag off Rocky but apart from Rocky 4, which is so bad it's funny, they're all good films give or take unrealistic fight scenes. Even the last one was ok in a back to the streets kind of way, although when it was on satellite last week I just flicked over!
Anyway even if it's not so good I just hope it doesn't bomb...

Old Duffer manages to hobble up those steps in an amazing 45 minutes.
Act 2 -
The lights come on in the ring, the crowd raws
ROCKY!!! ROCKY!!! ROCKY!!!
Old Duffer hobbles down to the ring on zimmer frame, gets his lights punched out for the first 14 rounds.
ROCKY!!! ROCKY!!! ROCKY!!!
Old Duffer slips on his own blood
ROCKY!!! ROCKY!!! ROCKY!!!
Old Duffers fist violently flies through the air and lands the knockout punch just before the final bell........
Rocky...Rock....Ro
Sorry it won't work Mr Stallone...Surely you've not spent all the money earned from the previous 5 movies already!
Leave it alone the first 3 films were the best the rest just American Dream proganda which is what will probably make this film a masive box office sucess :-(
What next?.....Rambo goes to Iraq....Oooops now I've done it

I am hoping it will be as good as the first four but not as bad as the last one but personally i think he should leave well alone as he aint got the body any more. and as for rambo come on i think he last done a rambo in 1985 or 86

I dont think so hes first rocky was great. dont think the public would like to see Rocky old.
Loved all the Rocky films.
But they are in the past dont try to revive what was great .
