Julliard and Berkley in Boston come to mind. also I'm told NYU has a great music program.

Berklee School of Music in Boston has a great reputation. Check out their alumni list.

Ithaca College also has a great music program. It started as a music school and continues to be impressive especially for vocalists.

Julliard would have to be the best music college in the U.S. But it's not a college your going to get into if you just "like" singing to be frank. It's one of those colleges you have to work you entire adolecense to get into.
