Makeup ! Does this sound fake ?

I am 12 goin on 13 in acouple months, I want to wear fake eyelashes and black eyeshadow and maybe a lil lipgloss that's really about it ; i would wear black eyeliner but, it makes my asian eyes look weird ! lols i actually got big asian eyes. so yeah this is my look that i wanna go for : http://cassie-source.net/photos/albums/userpics/10003/Image79b.jpg

WOW! that looks gorgeous and i can see it looking really good on like asians too! I'm gonna try that now! But i don't think its black eyeshadow, maybe just a dark grey, and idk if those are fake eyelashes maybe its just a light mascara!!

Well my daughters are both Asian and they have the most beautiful eyes ever! Unless you can have the fake eyelashes applied professionally, they may not look all that great, but if you use an eyelash curler to curl your lashes along with a little mascara, then that should be enough makeup without overdoing it. My oldest daughter, who's 16 btw, wears a dark brown liner and a dark plum eye shadow just along the lid of her eye close to her lashes to create a smoky look. She doesn't use black because the color looks too heavy for her eyes.

IN the 1950s 60s and 70s fake eye lashes were the norm. I say go for it, just make sure to clean them after you remove them for the next day. Keeping them clean and using fresh glue will help the life of the lashes. I recomend half lashes, you can get that cat-like line everyone likes, but not too much lash. Also you can cut the lashes and get more for your money.

It takes practice to get them down, so i recomend trying them on the weekend before school so you have it down and carry a small glue with yout in your bag or purse and a small mirror for a touch up.

Even adults who have worn them for years know they might get loose, so carry a bit of glue. I think you will be fine and you will look beautiful. Smoky look is in, but careful with black eye shadow some are hard eye shadows, I recomend a too-face brand for eye shadow. It's a bit pricy, but blends well for the look your going for. Also flash lashes would be a good idea with the dark eye shadow.

I have worked in make up for modeling and photography, you can get good falses at drug stores and even some sold with glue and an aplicator which will help apply them. Also when you apply them pull your upper lid to towards your ear and make a straight line on your lash for a perfect cat-look and with your asian eyes you will be stunning.

You're 12! It's way too mature for your age, you should be wearing maybe a little coverup and a light/natural eyeshadow with lip gloss, you have plenty of time to grow up, just wait a few years.

I'd say don't. Fake eyelashes are really hard to do, they usually look fake, and you could get an eye infection. I'd recommend just use some dark eyeshadow blended close to your eye, and use some really good lengthening mascara.

You're 2 YOUNG. Wait so you don't look like a wanabee and trying 2 hard. This will be a good look for you just wait till youre 15. I couldn't wait to wear makeup and now I can't stop and i'm addicted 2 it and i hate it. I looked much better natural.

It's a pretty look, but I have two issues. One you probably won't be able to get your make up to look anything like the photo. And two you are a little young, and that is a very adult look. But if you don't find any problems with my only two issues than go ahead and go for it.

Lay off the fake eyelashes, black eyeshadow, and eyeliner and you'll be good.

Do not go straight to black... try a dusty grey. Black eyeshadow makes you look like a wannabe goth. Also, you can try black eyeliner (pencil) then smudging it with a q-tip.
