You have to pay for Yahoo to give you forwarding access.
However, gmail will forward to you for free.
I have both a gmail and Yahoo e-mail account. I have my gmail set up to forward to my Yahoo. I really wish I could do it the other way for free, but you can't.
But gmail isn't really that good anyway. (And I'm a big Google fan.) :(

Yep. It's called a pop3 email, or an alternate email address. It makes your Gmail account receive ALL of your email.

You need a special software for this. There is what we call TRUESWITCH. I doubt if this is applicable to a free yahoo account. Usually, this is for paid email accounts provided by the ISP.
