I would say they are equal. They both have equal and different qualities that are "exhilerating".

yeah i think that's true.
i play right back, sometimes in the midfield, and score maybe 5 goals a year tops. so scoring a goal for me doesn't happen that often and when it does it's the culmination of so much hard work and determination.
however, i'm in a relationship and we have sex most ever day of the week, and even though it's totally amazing and i love my girlfriend, it's just not the same. i know this sounds shallow, but the sex is easier to come by and doesn't require anywhere as much effort.
i asked my girl what she thought about this question and she said that she feels the same, but for her it's when she gets to buy a new £1000 overcoat or handbag or shoes (which she does about 10 times a year).
so there you go, scoring something can be better than sex, it just depends on your perspective.

This would depend on the goal and the sex partner. Scoring a goal for Liverpool against Man Utd for instance would be a hard one for most women to beat. Particularly if it was Champions league final or similar.
