I want to transfer my avi files to a dvd-rw. How do I do it, and are dvd-rw cds playble in dvd players or are some dvd players that don't play dvd-rw? If so how do you find out if your dvd player plays dvd-rw cds? Oh yeah and I have this program called nero.

Most dvd players will NOT play a dvd-rw, but, there are some very new ones that will (so you should test yours to see)...

I'm not sure if the dvd player would play the AVI files if you just copied them onto the dvd-rw in your drive or not.. you may have to go through the process of "burning" a movie to the dvd-rw...

you can download a free trial version of Pinnacle from their website... I have a link on my web page to them (see link below)..

Use the Pinnacle to make your movie and burn it... I think the newer version of Pinnacle will do iPod versions too.. etc.

Open Ur Nero Xpress and follow instructions...And yes the output will play providing UR player is compatible with DVD-RW...{:-{}.

If you are not so sure, then find a software that will change it to mpeg for dvd compatible. If not visit divx website, they might have some answer to your question.
