Assuming you meant nearest, Puerto Vallarta is the closest. ETN has one direct bus for the 8:15 trip to PV. It departs at 22:15 (10:15pm). Otherswise you go first to Guadalajara and switch to a bus to Puerto Vallarta. ETN is the most comfortable company. They run both legs. Others are cheaper.

There are smaller beach towns north and south of PV.

For goodness sakes, check the map! Guanajuato is practically smack dab in the middle of the country and a long, long way from any ocean.
