I am just plain lazy on Sundays and sometimes I'll stay in my jammies all day and fiddle on my computer or watch makeover shows or whatever else that does not involve using my brain! I love doing nothing on Sundays!!! It's soooo relaxing.

Sunday actually is, world wide, 'the day of rest'

Rest up baby! It's sunday :o)

Besides if you're productive all week, then you deserve rest. But if you're feeling ultra lazy, do a miniscule task of laundry or rearrange some furnature, rake leaves... i'm currently laying on the couch, laptop, and watching Flip This House. Love TLC!!

I am right there with you sweetie. Monday through Friday is craziness with work and all, Saturdays is family day... so Sundays belong to meeee!!! And if lounging around in your jammies, fiddling with your computer, and watching makeover shows is how you relax, then go for it! It is my reward for working so hard all week long! And you know what? It gets me ready for work Monday morning!! So enjoy YOUR day off. You deserve it! Now where did I put that remote???

liberalthinktank.

Try setting your resolve to get up next Sunday in the AM and go to a local church. It's a good way to start your Sunday. There are many church's with contemporary services that preach the Good News. Nothing like a little spiritual lift early in the day and then relaxing the remainder of the day.

(can you tell that I had a good Sunday?)

I try to do "nothing" on Sundays, meaning I like to do stuff that I enjoy, like going to a movie by myself or playing a game on the computer for hours or ride my bicycle.

It takes my mind off the fact that I have to go to work the next day.

I only give thumbs up. If I know a friend as had a bad day of it, I will go to the questions they answered and give thumbs up for them. In the questions I ask I thumbs up all for taking the time to answer my question (except those that are rude or hurtful to others they get no thumbs). I see no need for the thumbs down icon at all. If you find it has value enjoy it and thank the person. If not leave it where you found it unchanged.

Everyone needs some down time once in a while; its good for your physical and mental health. However, if all you want to do is sleep all the time, you might have a problem and should see a good doctor.

Don't feel guilty!!! I mean unless you have a bunch of stuff you have promised to do that is piling up! It's your life, if you feel good about being in your jammies and pampering yourself, go for it.

You're not wasting time. You're spending your time in the manner that you want to. Everyone needs down-time from the hectic weekday grind. Relax & enjoy!
